Top Ten Ultimate Kill-Fors

Reasons: Hell, frigging, yeah! This is my salvation, my rock, my reason for living, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, YES! YES! I remember the first time I was introduced to Revolutionary Girl Utena in early 2007, one of my local stations had the FUNimation block with their third or maybe fourth set of shows that they were showcasing, running one or two times before the next set of new shows, and I looked on their official site and saw on the front page their list of upcoming ones and 'Utena' was one of them. After searching the net with that word and finally realizing what the 'anime' was about (which I definitely heard about and was certainly curious to watch) I decided to give it a shot since it had such an interesting premise, a girl named Utena had the rights to another girl known as the Rose Bride that she won in a duel and fought to protect her. Who would have thought that that specific relationship from a mild interest in a show like that back then would become my 'Number 1 Wishlist Kill-For'. I mean this coule is on my mind 24/7, they have the power to haunt my dreams, I mean I go to bed every night without at least one thought of them in my subconscious. Heh, what's terribly true about this is that I usually visualize hours upon hours of scenarios between the two girls in my head, some that are so vivid and so incredibly raunchy that you would probably blush or just the thought of them would force your jaws to drop, holy s*#t, but most of the time my thoughts of them are are sweet and tender. Once in a while, the scenarios just pop into my head without me even 'preparing' for them, *that's* how bad I've got it. I even lurk on fanfic sites such as Fanfiction.net to see if there are any new Utena/Anthy stories and if there are, I jump at the chance to read them. When a particulary good story such as an ongoing series catches my attention, even more scenearios of my loving couple blossom in my brain and its absolute hell when I have to wait for the next chapter, which is, oh by my luck three to six months till the next update; I applaud those authors (who are very talented by the way) for making me wait because I 'love' being tortured because of these two girls, oh my goodness I'm even thinking of me with them in a three-some. Okay, I really got hot here. I love this couple so much I want to scream! I first fell in love with them in the beginning of 'Utena' when Utena rescued Anthy from humiliation at a ball involving the disintegration of her dress and danced with her, the real topper was when Utena finally lost Anthy to a duel to one of the other Rose Crest duelists, right before Anthy repeated Utena's early words of hating being the Rose Bride and wanting to make friends, I just loved her words as she was near devastation, something along the lines like 'Tell him Anthy, that you hate being the Rose Bride, that you want to make friends, isn't that what you said to me?'. I swear to God it almost sounded like a love confession, especially with that background music colliding with it, a piece called, 'Death of Aphrodite'. With her ending the episode falling to her fists and knees and pathetically sobbing the words, 'It's not true' over and over again, while hanging her head and screwing her eyes shut, as earlier pictures of Anthy flashed across her mind, I was in a shocking state of euphoria. The thought of such a temperamental and noble tomboy with sword-fighting skills and an alternate version of the boy's uniform such as Utena paired up with a princess and a shy girl like Anthy is phenomenal. These two make me go ga ga and drooling for more of that yuri/shoujo-ai loving, baby!

Reasons: Oh yeah, Kagurazaka Asuna has to be my most adoringly loved and highly respected anime/manga heroine. She kicks butt, she draws compassion, she slices, she dices, she does just about anything! And for a limited time only you can...nah. Getting back to the subject, Asuna is everything, she is hapless student, high kicking ace, diligent worker, kind-hearted soul, old men loving machine, hot-headed rival, justice bearing protagonist, highly motivated teenager, awesome sword-wielder, friend-supporting wonder, all in all a wonderful person...and then some. ;) She was actually the first person to hate the show's own protagonist, Negi Sprigfield, but in the end closeness and understanding of the boy led to an honest, yet heart-achingly sincere friendship between the two, making them nearly inseparable, also by a pactio (magical partnership), awww. Anyway, Asuna actually managed to capture my heart when she 'died' in the series first anime adaption, Mahou Sensei Negima! (Magister Negi Magi) where a magic contract that was cast upon her by a demon when she was around 4 or 5 years old where she would meet her demise when the clock struck 12:00 AM on her 14th birthday. Unfortunately she fell off a tree, but before her body could hit the ground, Negi, who was by her side earlier, caught her while swooping down on his staff, but then he looked into her lifeless and eyes and said "Asu-", god! And after that tragic night, when Negi was crying while missing her, I was doing both too, I was an emotional wreck, I swear that had to be one of most saddest, heart-numbing anime scenes I've ever witnessed, seriously I couldn't function for days! I even mourned when listening to other anime songs and recounting that scene over and over to the musics' beats. Goodness, I love Asuna as if she were my own sister, not literally but you should get my point after all this. Don't worry, in the anime she lived, but in the manga she's always been alive and vibrant throughout the whole story and I hope it stays that way. Oh Asuna, you are love.

Reasons: Oh my God, Kuwabara and Yuusuke are my very first yaoi/shounen-ai pairing in the history of anime...or at least my history of anime watching. This is what you would call one of my babies from a popular genre such as shounen-ai or yaoi with Kuwabara Kazuma and Urameshi Yuusuke as one of those couples. Seriously, though, those two rock my world in boy/boy love/bonding. Thank God for Cartoon Network for introducing me to these two together with the help of the series Yu Yu Hakusho. I first noticed little hints of their 'loving' relationship starting when Yuusuke temporarily died, such as when Kuwabara attended his wake and broke down like a baby, and when Yuusuke helped Kuwabara in his spirit form for his exam studies while the young man was asleep, crouched upon the chair that he slept on. ;) When Yuusuke came back to life, oh boy, that's where their relationship really started rocking! It was definitely during the Genkai tournament where Yuusuke was informed to track down a demon named Rando where upon finding him, Kuwabara was literally crushed by him, bones and all. What followed was a terrible, but wonderful scream by Yuusuke who witnessed the whole thing followed by an emotional, tear-filled side by side, heart-wrenching, sympathetic reassuring talk between the two, leaving me both devastated and overjoyed at the beauty of their fateful, seemingly last meeting. And from that long, somewhat corny or maybe embarassing sentence, you just know I'm in love with this pairing. I would literally go to the ends of the earth for this pairing...maybe. God, woo hoo, I love me some Kuwabara/Yuusuke loving!

Reasons: Asuna and Negi, what can I say. Those two go together like PB and J. Brother and sister, boyfriend and girlfriend (the *only* one that I'm truly pining for), teacher and student: all of these facets of their relationship always manage to turn out gold. These characters are the only things that still have me interested in Mahou Sensei Negima!, (Magister Negi Magi) either in the anime series or the on-going manga. Heck, I practically read every volume just to get to their scenes together and I loathe the times they are apart. They first got off to a rough start, constantly bickering and secretly lashing out at each other, but over time they managed to get closer as friends and like a teacher and student should, which made me love the idea of them being together even more, and plus I was a sucker for Asuna's demise and Negi's tearful reactions to it in the anime series, but with a happy ending, also a flame to fuel the fire of wanting them to be together. Negi may be a pint small for a fifteen year old girl like Asuna, but their bond more than makes up for their difference in size. Seriously, these two have an obvious future together, and I wouldn't be suprised in Ken Akamatsu, the show's creator had them married in a future, future volume (it does bring up certain scenarios). ;) In fact, I have lots of scenerios in my head as to what would happen between these two when they grow up. This relationship is also surprising at how Asuna just hates little kids, hey it's in her bio, and how especially close she is to Negi and how protective she is of him, fiercely protective. I even get jealous when other female students besides Asuna get to either date Negi or get physically close to him. Although, Negi and Asuna got close to eventually 'dating' was when he took magic pills that instantly turned him into a fifteen year old in the manga, now that was one of the best Negi/Asuna moments, if I ever did see one. The one greatest thing about their relationship is that they are pactio parnters for life where they both support each other with the help of magic on the battlefield and for the pact to work it involved a kiss, including tongue, on Asuna's part, woot woot! Man, it's like magic when they are on the screen or simply on a page together. Their hugs and touches are simply a joy to witness whether it be alone or in front of the 31 girls in their class. ;) Asuna and Negi are true love.

Reasons: Negima, Negima, Negima! Mahou Sensei Negima! (Magister Negi Magi) are just one of those manga that you can't put down. I mean I practically spent hours and hours reading the first 12 or 13 volumes that I bought as a set over on Ebay, one after another, anytime and anyplace I could, on trips, in the car, on the plane, just about anywhere. I just love the premise: a bunch of middle-school students all in one class, most of them bonding with camaraderie while trying to deal with the pressures of real life, the way fourteen and fifteen year old kids should, specifically with one little, ten year old prodigy teacher/magician, a secretive magician at that, leading them known to most of them as Professor Negi Springfield. Negi also has a great side-kick who brings joy and butt-kicking antics to the series, one of his students and possibly best friend, Kagurazaka Asuna. Reading each page is like a breath of fresh air, finishing one arc and starting on the next one is like a dream come true and I want to fulfill it every single waking moment. There are also several pactios, magic contracts that Negi, the series lead must perform with one of his 31 students where he must stand in a magic circle drawn with chalk by his brother like companion, an ermine named Chamo, in which he must kiss one of them. This is also where they also get a 'cool' card that can transform them with cool get-ups and produce them with weapons such as everyday inanimate objects with one little word, "Adeat!". Everytime this happens, I can't help but be suprised at how much fun it seems. The lead character also has a magic staff he can use to fly around on, left to him by his father who mysteriously disappeared from his life and can use cool gadgets such as a magical gun and a time traveling pocketwatch, which is awesome for a little kid like Negi. Negi can also fight defensively studying martial arts from another of his students along with his magic powers, which help his students and several others throughout the series, making it a delight to read, watch and experience in the world of Negima. Seriously this is the first manga series I ever loved and one I continued reading enough to make me such a fan of the world of manga!

Reasons: Okay, Kiddy Grade is one of the most underrated anime shows out there, that's why I'm here to disprove that! In fact, *I* think that Kiddy Grade is one of most exceptional shows out there, it has great drama, the characters are expertly written and well thought out, the science fiction atmosphere makes it thrilling to watch. Most importantly the relationship, yes I do put heavy emphasis on the word relationship, between Eclair and Lumiere has got to be *brace yourselves* one of the most significant yuri/shoujo-ai ones in anime history. Just a look between them, a touch, and yes a kiss, having to do with grape juice :O is enough to make me blush. But enough of that that's a different category (go Eclair/Lummiere). There are other relationships that make the show intriguing such as the main character Eclair's interactions with the minor characters in almost every episode, as well as the main characters such as Alv and Dvergr especially towards the end, it's simply remarkable! Even the ships of Kiddy Grade such as the La Muse are out of this world! Also the main plot of the show of Eclair losing her memories and desperately trying to get them back but with dire consequences, god, Kiddy Grade is such an exceptional show, I don't know if my reasons alone are what makes this show so great, you just have to watch and see for yourself! Anyway, here's a good link to get you started.

Reasons: Chikane rocks! She's just perfect in every way since she does it all: archery, equestrian, tennis, crushing...on another girl, the list just goes on and on. Heehee. She even makes the perfect priestess and she's only in high school! She's strong-minded, willing, and probably the poster-child of yuri/shoujo-ai anime, she deserves a freaking medal of honor in the category of yuri/shoujo-ai, hell, she should have created the terms yuri/shoujo-ai since she does a damn fine job in that category. I feel a strong sense of giddiness whenever she pines for her other girl friend Himeko, especially when she hugged and kissed an unconscious Himeko in a selfish act of devotion and despair at the end of episode one and the aftermath, ahhh Chikane. Most importantly, her seiyuu/voice actresses Ayako Kawasumi and the infamous Michelle Ruff make Chikane the coolest female anime character ever. Chikane is one of the reasons why I have yuri/shoujo-ai as my top genre in all of anime, and that's saying a lot.

Reasons: Oh, my god. Zoids: Chaotic Century has to be one of the best cute and serious anime shows out there. I used to stay up until three or four in the morning on weekdays long ago while watching it on the Cartoon Network, and I thank the network for introducing me to the series. Not only is it kawaii (Chaotic Century wise) and serious (Guardian Force wise) it's also thought-provoking. The characters make you stand and cheer, while some can rile you up and want to at least hit something, geez. See how good this anime is! The relationships, such as my favorite, Van and Fiona, are very real, down to earth or just plain bad. The organoids are amazing, especially Zeke, the protagonist's best friend and the zoids kick-ass such as the Blade Liger and Lightning Saix, especially the way they move and shoot lasers, absolute love. The storyline is also wonderful, especially Fiona's quest to find the mysterious Zoid Eve, and Fiona's ever-lasting love, errr loyalty for Van, also the plots concerning the war on Planet Zi, incredible. Oh and did I mention that Van and Fiona's relationship makes up a huge chunk of the plot for Zoids: CC/Zoids: Guardian Force, their promises to look after each other and attempts to stay together makes this show top notch. I was giddy towards the few last episodes when Fiona disappeared from Van's arms upon getting injured in one of the zoids and he screamed out her name afterwards, it was true bliss. It's a wonder why these two never got married, teehee. Seriously, though, Zoids: CC has the potential to become one of the greatest anime's in history, not only relationship-wise, but plot wise, or at least in my eyes.

Reasons: Kannazuki no Miko is probably the first and only real yuri/shoujo-ai anime I've seen. I ranked it on my top ten list because it's a major factor in why I've been smitten with yuri/shoujo-ai and yuri/shoujo-ai couples and situations. In fact if I hadn't gotten so interested in this anime, I would never have so much of an appreciation in girl on girl relationships as I am now. So in other words, it's like the basis of yuri and shoujo-ai for me. Kannazuki no Miko is also a main reason why I love the Kurusugawa Himeko and Himemiya Chikane relationship and the character Chikane herself, who kicks ass by the way. ;) I also love all the angst and emotion in it, all the yuri/shoujo-ai angst and emotion that is portrayed by Chikane and her and Himeko, that is. All in all, Kannazuki no Miko has to be the very best hard-core yuri/shoujo-ai show in history!

Reasons: The Goku, Vegeta relationship is an interesting one indeed. First off the two are rivals on and off the battlefield. The two first face off as mortal enemies in the series Dragonball Z after Goku's son, Gohan's capture, and it seems interesting since Kakkarot and Vegeta are both Saiyans, a species who are violent and fearful creatures who have landed on Earth for one thing, to destroy. Their relationship gets even more, ahem interesting as they reluctantly side with each other against the series most vile main villains of the series. Goku is the more 'sane' one in the relationship or rivalry since he tries to reason with Vegeta when Vegeta becomes his violent, saiyan self, while Vegeta's goal is to surpass Goku as a Saiyan and even reach a new level of what is called 'super' Saiyan. I especially loved the two's teamwork during the Majin Buu saga, as well as their fights together, I don't know why but I liked the part where Majin Vegeta knocked Goku unconscious as he was trying to obtain one of his sensu beans from his bag. But the most part I loved during that part of the saga was after they were both absored into Buu's stomach and had to team up to kill ones of the things that kept reappearing inside of him by practically standing 'cheek to cheek' to blast it away. Triple heeheehee. Dragonball Z is one of my favorite anime, and Goku and Vegeta's relationship are one of the many of DBZ that I enjoy the most, not to mention what hard-core yaoi fanfiction featuring Goku/Vegeta can do, yippeeee!
